Howe Foot as seen in Alastair Sawday’s
Special Places to Stay British Bed and Breakfast
A unique opportunity to stay in a perfect little cottage for two which is completely separate from the main house. This was once a former workshop for an Oak Swill Basket Maker - Basket making has been a traditional Lake District craft for hundreds of years. The cottage has now been fully restored and is cosy and quaint with oak beams, slate floors and a delightful Woodburning stove. A sitting room, double bedroom and shower room make up this charming hidden gem
